6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, 8 Provideth her meat
in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
-Proverbs 6:6-8
Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is,
and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much
more clothe you, O you of little faith?
– Matthew 6:30
We see God provides for all creation, the ants, the grass,
and us with these two companion verses taken together.
Yet, we are challenged to consider something much more,
our faith. How many times have we looked for a guide,
mentor, or leader in times of trouble rather than going to God directly?
How many times have we tried to solve our own problems rather
than considering the power of the Holy Spirit? Finally, how many
times are we so about ourselves that we miss seeing
God in all of his creation.
